Katie Schmitz spent nearly a decade working in operations and data analytics at Amazon before making the move into law. She completed Villanova University's Paralegal Certificate Program in 2026, focusing on legal research and writing, civil litigation, contract law, and document review. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern European History from Kalamazoo College.

 

During her nine years at Amazon, Katie worked in a series of analytical and operational roles supporting global teams. In those positions, she drafted procedural documents, produced reports for senior leadership, and managed large-scale projects across international sites. That experience gave her a strong foundation in organization, written communication, and working through complex processes from start to finish.

 

Katie brings that same methodical approach to her paralegal work, with a particular focus on keeping matters organized and deadlines met.
